Programme of Meetings, October to December 2024

For events in January to June 2024, see the 2023-24 programme.

Society meetings are held on Wednesdays and start at 7 p.m. All welcome, no charge: you don’t even have to be a member, just sympathetic to our aims!

For the winter period, our meetings are being held Online, via Zoom. To attend online you'll need the Zoom link, sent out in our monthly Newsletter. If you're not currently receiving our Newsletters, please sign up using the form on our "Contact" page.

Meetings marked (Hybrid) are held at the Stables, Falkland Estate, KY15 7AF (what3words: ///dressings.destroyer.football) by kind permission of the Falkland Stewardship Trust, and also accessible online via Zoom.

The principal ambition of our lecture programme is always to honour aspects of our cultural and social history through stories of art, archaeology, architecture and history relevant to Falkland but not necessarily local. We trawl our circles of friendship and acquaintance vigorously for speakers who are active in their chosen fields.
